Ch. Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani is a State Government University established by the government of Haryana under Act No. 25 of 2014. The University became functional from 26^th July, 2014. CBLU is also a Teaching-cum-affiliating University established to facilitate higher education in multi-disciplines with special emphasis on sports and physical education. It has been named after Chaudhary Bansi Lal, former Chief Minister of Haryana and considered to be the Architect of Modern Haryana. It has been recognized by the University Grants Commission under 2F. The university is a boon for the academically rather deprived region of Haryana, and holds great promise for the intellectual and academic boom for the people of Bhiwani.
