Explanation: The system was established with an aim to preserve the precious forest fire incidents during summer season and department has also launched an awareness campaign across the state to protect forests from fire in which local people will be involved to detect the fire incidents. Approx. 700 participatory committees had been constituted, more than 90 water tanks constructed and nearly 100 watch towers had been erected so that the people could easily detect fire incidents.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has purchased the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and Bar awarded to Wing Commander Karun Krishna 'Jumbo' Majumdar from a London auction house. Late Majumdar was also referred by which name?: Father of IAF

Explanation: Majumdar, widely referred to as the 'Father of the IAF', was born in Kolkata in 1913. Grandson of W C Bonnerjee, the first president of Indian National Congress, Majumdar was commissioned to No. 1 Squadron in the mid-1930s. Upon his promotion as squadron leader, he took over its reins in June 1941 at Miranshah, NWFP (now in Pakistan). According to naval history, in a war with Japan, Majumdar took off in a solitary Lysander ( which was never used for the war) armed with two 250-lb bombs, the New Zealanders in the No.67 RAF Squadron who shared Toungoo, sent an escort of two Buffalo fighters in sheer admiration for the young Indian. He flew at a low level, almost skimming tree tops, to achieve complete surprise and dropped the bombs on a hangar, destroying it along with the aircraft inside. "The next day, Majumdar led his whole squadron in to bomb the airfield, destroying buildings, wireless stations and aircraft on the ground," the officer added. "Majumdar was awarded the DFC for his leadership of the squadron during the Burma Campaign, becoming the first Indian officer to be decorated with this award in World War II.

According to the National Sample Survey report, which 2 cities in India has top the list of unemployment for both men and women on 22 May 2015?: Patna and Lucknow

Explanation: In a report based on employment and unemployment survey conducted in the 68th round of National Sample Survey during July 2011 to June 2012, among class 1 cities, for males, unemployment rate in usual status (adjusted) was the highest for Lucknow (8.5 percent) and for females it was the highest in Patna (34.6 percent). However, the unemployment rate for men was 2.9 percent for class 1 cities, 3.3 percent for class 2 towns and 2.6 percent fore class 3 towns. Among class 1 cities, after Patna, Kanpur has the highest unemployment rate for women at 22.7 percent followed by Kalyan-Dombivili at 11 percent. For men, Patna followed Lucknow with unemployment rate at 8 per cent. Hyderabad was at third place with a rate of 5.9 percent.
