In which location this university is situated at Yaithibi Khunou in Thoubal district. The University will introduce B.PEd, MPEd, diploma/certificate courses, physiotherapy, fitness, sports management, sports journalism and others. Initially, it will be affiliated to North Eastern Regional Centre (NERC) of Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior before obtaining full-fledged university status to start the academic session from next year at Integrated Sports Complex at Khuman Lampak, Imphal.
