Explanation: Powerlifting Association National Championships 2015 was held at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas in which ndian-American boy Amitoj Chhabra on 11 July 2015 won the Junior Title. Chhabra began powerlifting in December 2013 and started competing in May 2014 thus in US Powerlifting Championships 2015, he lifted a total of 1383 pounds in Las Vegas to win the junior title.

The Board for Control of Cricket in India on 21 July 2015 has announced the venues for the Men and Women ICC World Twenty-20 2016. Which city ground will host the Final of T-20 match?: Eden Garden - Kolkata

 Explanation:  The ICC World T20, to be held in India from 11 March 2016 to 3rd April 2016, across eight cities in India. These venues will host the matches subject to fulfilling the prescribed requirements of the ICC and BCCI while adhering to the statutory obligations that are mandatory for hosting an International matches. It is worth to mention that earlier Eden Gardens had organised marquee matches, notably the 1987 Reliance Cup final and 1996 World Cup semi-final, which India forfeited the match to eventual champions Sri Lanka due to a crowd disruption.

Explanation: The competition was held on July 10 and 11 at Chiang Mai’s Lotus Pang Suankaew hotel, which nearly 100 countries had participated. U.S. won the competition with 185 points, just beating out China’s team, which scored 181. South Korea clinched third place. David Stoner and Allen Liu holding USA flag at gold medal ceremony, rounding out all 6 members of top-ranked Team USA. This won is great relief to the USA as this big win comes after amid concerns that American students may be lagging behind their peers when it comes to math and science. In a March 2015 report by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, the U.S. was ranked 28th among 76 countries for school performance. The OECD report ranked countries based on 15-year-old students’ average scores in math and science.

Explanation:  The Supreme court panel headed by retired Justice Lodha has given the verdict against the CSK and Rajasthan Royal team. After this verdict now both Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra will never indulge in their life to any cricket and cricket related activities. In a another decision due to involvement of owners and co-owners in the betting, both of their teams are now suspended for two years. The decision was made due to duo betting activities during the IPL 2013 season. As a result now both teams cannot continue with the same names for the ban period hence that means there will be no CSK or RR in the 2016 and 2017 edition of IPL. However, they can still play in the IPL under different ownerships, and different names, if they are sold and the sales are confirmed by the IPL's governing council.

-    The world number one, Serena Williams claimed a sixth Wimbledon title and fourth successive grand slam crown by suppressing the spirited attacking instincts of 20th-seeded Spaniard Garbine Muguruza to win Saturday's final 6-4 6-4.   
-    Leander Paes clinched his 16th Grand Slam trophy, winning the mixed doubles event of the Wimbledon Championship with legendary Martina Hingis after a dominating win over Alexander Peya and Timea Babos to win in the set 6-1, 6-1. It was Paes' eighth mixed doubles title and second with Hingis. They had won the Australian Open early this year. 
-    Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza win Wimbledon women’s doubles final. This was the Sania Mirza's first-ever women's doubles Grand Slam title. The pair seal the victory with 5-7 7-6(4) 7-5 win over Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
