In India, OSS Air, a Mumbai-based service provider of Finmeccanica's AgustaWestland helicopters, claims to be operating the country's sole DGCA certified air ambulance helicopter. The Maharashtra’s Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) on 1 May 2015 filed an FIR against CEO, Directors and respective distributors of which e-commerce major on charges of for selling prescription drugs online?: Snapdeal

Explanation: The FIR was filed 15 days after when FDA raided the Mumbai offices of Snapdeal for the selling prescription drugs such as Viagra and Ascoril on its website. Thus on 1 May 2015 the FIR was filed against e-commerce major Snapdeal’s CEO Kunal Bahl, co-founder Rohit Bansal and other directors. As per the law, it is illegal to sell (both offline and online) drugs to patients or customers without a proper prescription in the country. Maharashtra FDA caught the snapdeal when it has order online and receievd the durgs which are only supposed to sell by doctors prescription. Thus MHA had also asked Snapdeal to immediately de-list such drugs from its site to which the company had complied. It was also investigating other e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart, Amaozon, Shopclues and Ebay.

Explanation: TAM is the existing ratings provider, which is a joint venture between Nielsen and Kantar. Broadcaster Audience Research Council (BARC) was established in 2012 by the Indian Broadcasting Foundation which has a 60% stake, the Indian Society of Advertisers and the Advertising Agencies Association of India with each having 20% stake. BARC uses an advanced, audience measurement technique -audio watermarking, to track content through its broadcast cycle. Thus, this is a code inserted into the audio channel of the television signal which transmits through the distribution platforms and cannot be, either deleted or overwritten in the cryptographic family it adopts. Therefore it increases the integrity and reliability of the data generated by BARC’s ratings and each channel being watched by the viewer can be identified uniquely by the system. BARC system will also captures data about TV content consumed through any form of distribution – terrestrial, DTH, analog cable and digital cable.
