Explanation: Pawan Munjal has now become the new chairman of Hero Group While 92-year-old Brijmohan Munjal has become chairman emeritus of over $4 billion group and would remain on the board as a non-executive member. Pawan Munjal had assumed the role of MD and CEO in 2001 at Hero, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer in terms of unit volumes sold in a calendar year. In December 2010, the Indian promoter of the two-wheeler maker, the B M Munjal family, had agreed to buy out the entire 26 per cent stake of Honda in Hero Honda for Rs 3,841.83 crore and therefore, commands over 50 per cent share in the domestic motorcycle market and it sold record 6.63 million units two-wheelers in the fiscal ended March 31, 2015 -- its highest-ever annual sales.

The GIF will be animated inline after the post is published. However according to the Verge, not everyone will be able to avail the functionality immediately as the update is still rolling out.

Explanation: The public broadcaster has always been seen as a government mouthpiece with the editing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interview to DD days before the Lok Sabha election stirring a debate on Prasar Bharati's autonomy. Thus in an unusual move after appointing Veena Jain as director general (news) in Doordarshan in place of Akshay Rout, the information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry directed her to report directly to the ministry. DD DG (news) is one of the most influential positions in the public broadcaster. Both DD and AIR are media wings that function under Prasar Bharati. Neither Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar nor chairperson A Surya Prakash were marked a copy of the order. According to rules, while the I&B ministry has the power to transfer and post IIS officials, they are expected to work and report to the Prasar Bharati CEO who is the executive head. The order asking Jain to report directly to the ministry was unusual.

A U.S. judge ordered Yahoo Inc to face a nationwide class-action lawsuit accusing it of illegally intercepting the content of emails sent to Yahoo Mail subscribers from non-Yahoo Mail accounts, and using the information to boost what?: Advertising Revenue

E-commerce major Snapdeal on 25 May 2015 has acquired Hyderabad-based mobile technology startup, MartMobi for an undisclosed amount, a move that will help the firm strengthen its mobility platform for which partners?: Merchant partners
