15 June 2015 marked as which historic charter (agreement) anniversary in Britain, which was signed between the King of England and the English nobility; which limited the power of the throne and was the first significant limit placed on governmental authority in the world?: Magna Carta

Explanation: The Magna Carta is considered the founding document of English law and civil liberties and the historic charter (agreement) was signed on 15 June 1215.  This agreement was signed when under pressure from a group of some forty English barons unhappy with the crown’s excessive taxation, King John agreed to affix his seal to the charter at Runnymede, near Windsor (UK). Thus Signing of Magna Carta is important as it is widely accepted as the first significant step in the direction of establishing governmental system in place of the monarchial rule. In perhaps its most enduring legacy, the Magna Carta mandated that no man be imprisoned, stripped of his possessions or exiled “except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.”

For what reason Trade unions representing workers of Tata Steel in the UK will go on strike on 22 June 2015, the biggest industrial action in the UK in nearly three decades?: Over proposed changes to the company's pension scheme

Explanation: Currently nearly 17000 workers are working in 4 facilities in UK at Wales in Port Talbot, Newport, Flintshire and Carmarthenshire, as well as sites around England including Corby, Hartlepool, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Teesside and York. Main reason for this strike decision is that as per the Unite trade unions at present workers can retire at 60 without an actuarial reduction. Instead Tata Steel insists that workers wishing to retire at 60 will lose 5 percent of each year of early retirement - 25 percent in total. However, Tata Steel had proposed to replace the BSPS with a "money purchase" pension scheme in which employees, the government and the employer will make definite contributions. It would also hike the retirement age from 60 to 65. This call of strike dragged the British Prime Minister David Cameron into the row last week when he was questioned in the House of Commons about UK government action to avert the strike.
