| Chanakya National Law University is an autonomous National Law University and located in Patna, Bihar. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar (Bihar Act 24 of 2006) as a public university aiming to provide legal education and it is included in section 2(f) & 12(B) of the U.G.C. Act, 1956. The Chief Justice of Patna High Court is the ex-officio Chancellor of the university. The university is spread on 18 acres of land at Nyaya Nagar, Mithapur near Mithapur Bus stand, near Jakkanpur Police Station, Patna. It is affiliated with Bar Council of India. |
