Earlier there was no Clarity in the CBSE class 12th Result 2017. Board has still not clarified when they will release the result for the class XII. We assume that because of the recent court verdict on the grace marking, CBSE Board has to change some of the results based on grace marking that students deserve. Hence, because of this activity result could be delayed and may declared by the end of this week.

Central Board of Secondary Education can declare the 12th result within 1-2 days days. Several media houses has now release Online press release for the result dates. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare its All India Senior School Certificate Examinations 2017 (AISSCE) or (Class 12) result May 24 as quoted by the News18.

In April, Students were taken aback by a decision by the board to scrap its moderation policy with immediate effect. Hence feared was risen as we may expect a clear dip in percentage if no grace marks were awarded for difficult questions. Therefore, academic prospects of 11 lakh Class 12 students and nine lakh Class 10 students hinged on this development.

A bench of acting chief justice Gita Mittal and justice Pratibha M Singh directed the CBSE to continue with the moderation policy that was in place when the examination forms were submitted last year. “A person taking the examination needs to be put on notice (about the decision to scrap the policy). Do it next year,” the bench said, adding that the board “cannot change the rules after the game has begun”.

The court has also said that the sudden implementation of such a decision would put students into great stress epecially to those whoes exams were gone not good. “Children have a right to know what you are doing. Probably they are under more stress. Don’t instill insecurity,” it told the CBSE counsel.

The total of 10,98,981 students appeared for Class XII exams, an increase of 2.82 percent from more than the year's number and now all of them are eagerly waiting for the result. Students fo the class 12th can expect the result with low grades this time as board has decided to be strict on marking.

In the meantime, Delhi High Court has given it's verdict ordering CBSE to give grace marks to students this year could affect the declaration of results.
