CBSE 10th result 2017 : Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE class 12th Result on 28th May 2017 and therefore, CBSE 10th Result 2017 will be delayed by almost a month due to issue in grace marking and recent elections. Also, due to high competition, many students who are high performers at school-level also suffer feel pressure. In 2016, the CBSE Class 10 Result was declared on 28th May in the late afternoon. That day, the fate of nearly 15 lakh students was announced. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 10th Result 2016 stood at 96.21% which was marginally lower compared to 2015’s stat of 97.32%. Keeping up the annual tradition, girls outperformed boys but only by a very thin margin.

Last year, a total of 15,309 schools registered for the Class 10th board exam while this year it has increased to 16,363 in Class 10 exams. Also, the female-male ratio is quite low for the class 10 students with 3,70,615 girls and 5,15,891 boys appearing for the paper.
