Explanation: After this ruling which is in favor of Kochi Tusker, the franchise owners don't want the money - they want to be reinstated in the IPL starting next season. In 2011, the BCCI had terminated the contract of Kochi Tuskers Kerala for non-payment of their bank guarantee, thus abruptly ending the controversial team's association with the cash-rich league after just one year. The franchise challenged the board's decision and the case went to arbitration. However, after this judgment, the BCCI is going for legal opinion on this and we will see if we can challenge it in the High Court.

What is the name of Haryana twin sisters who become first Indians to win mountain grand slam?: Nungshi and Tashi Malik

 Explanation: In April 2015, Nungshi and Tashi Malik twins aged 23 from Sonepat, Haryana, became the only south Asians (1st time from India), to complete the Explorers Grand Slam -the South and North Pole, and the seven summits. They're also reportedly the youngest in the world to achieve the feat. With no sponsors, their once-reluctant mother took a loan and their father, an Armyman, put all his savings at stake. The lanky girls climbed Everest on 19 May , 2013, along with Samina Baig, the first Pakistani woman to achieve the feat. It was on the way back to base camp that fellow mountaineers sowed the seeds for their next dream, the 7-summit challenge -climbing the highest peak in each of the seven continents.

Explanation: The record which was broke by Fiji was made by Australia against American Samoa, in which Autrailia won by 31-0. The record breaking match was was played under Pacific Games 2015 in which Fiji defeated the Federated States of Micronesia by 38-0 to break. Earlier, Micronesia lost their first match 30-0 to Tahiti in the same games.

The design for the Olympic torch was unveiled in which country on 4 July 2015?: Brazil

Explanation: The design for the Olympic torch that will tour Brazil leading up to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was unveiled in Brasilia on Friday, less than 400 days from the start of the Games. The torches are expandable and stand 27 inches tall, weighing between 1 and 1.5 kilograms each. About 12,000 people will be chosen to carry the Olympic torch through more than 300 cities and towns in each of Brazil's 26 states in the three months leading up to event.

The highlight of the game was Carli Lloyd who scored a hat-trick in the finals. It was a revenge that U.S. team has taken from Japan, which lost Japan in the 2011 final on penalty kicks. The 3rd place was won by England after defeating Germany by 1-0 in the playoff for third place.

Chile created history by winning the Copa America tournament for 2015 on 4 July 2015. The host team defeated  which country by 4-1 on penalties to win the prestigious tournament?: Argentina

Explanation: The 44th edition of COPA America, the prestigious football tournament for South American countries, had started from 11 June 2015 in Chile. This was the first Copa America title for Chile, which won on 4 July after defeating Lionel Messi-led Argentina by 4-1 in the penalties, after the match was tied 0-0 after regular time. Earlier Chile had reached Copa America finals Four times ( year 1955, 1956, 1979 and 1987) without winning the tournament. Thus, the final was played at Santiago’s Estadio Nacional in the presence of nearly 50,000 Chileans. In a dramatic finale, the Chileans made all of their penalties while the much fancied Argentina could score just one.

Explanation: Since the first Test in 1877, there have been numerous changes made to the laws and rules in an effort to ensure the game remains relevant and this day-night format is another form of change to preserve spectator interest in the oldest form of cricket in the T20 era. Cricket Australia confirmed that the historic Test would be played from November 27, 2015 with the specially designed pink Kookaburra balls. While the logistics of the Test match are yet to be decided, it is understood that the organizers are contemplating a 2.30 PM start and run the game until 9.30 PM local time. Consequently, the 40 minute 'lunch break' could now be taken between the second and third sessions and would be named the "dinner break" while the players will take the 15-minute 'tea break' between the first two sessions.

Thus the two players were found to have breached Article 2.2.4 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “Inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between Players in the course of play during an International Match”. The charge had been laid by the on-field umpires Rod Tucker and Enamul Haque, as well as third umpire Anisur Rahman and fourth umpire Masudur Rahman. All Level 2 breaches carry a minimum penalty of a minimum fine of 50 per cent of applicable Match Fee and/or up to two (2) Suspension Points.
