| Founded in 1980 by Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi, a respected parliamentarian and philanthropist, GITAM Institute of International Business has evolved into a premier seat of learning on the East coast of Andhra Pradesh. The various centres that form a part of GIIB impart world-class education at undergraduate and post graduate level. The institutions that form an integral part of GIIB Group include College of Engineering, College of Management Studies, College of Science, Institute of International Business and Dental College. These Institutions are located on a sprawling 100 acre campus that overlooks the majestic Bay of Bengal. GITAM Institute of International Business was formerly known as Gitam Institute of Foreign Trade.
